Thousands protested in the streets of the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, New Zealand and other countries to express their support for the Palestinian people and condemn Israel’s bombing of Gaza. Many of these groups carried the call: “Free Palestine!”
In United Kingdom, activists occupied on May 19 a subsidiary arms factory of the Elbit Systems, which supplies drones for Israel used against Palestine. The Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network declared May 15-22 as a Week of Struggle for Palestine.
In the US, 140 organizations called on the Biden government to oppose the eviction of Palestinians from East Jerusalem, condemn the Israel’s violence in Gaza, and stop its war crimes using all means necessary.
