The revolutionary movement in Kalinga paid tribute to Rudy Daguitan (Ka Pinpin) and Nora Miguel (Ka Lanie), veteran Red fighters in the province, who were slain in an encounter last March 15 in Barangay Gawaan, Balbalan. Ka Pinpin was a military cadre while Ka Kabue was a medic.
